Question:

Places to live in GENOA?

I'm a student and I would like to find a small and cheap apartment or participiate in a flat-sharing community, which would anyways be cheaper I guess. Do you know any sites where I could find myself something?? Or how easy is it generally to find a flat in Genoa? Are the queues long??

Is living hard in Italy (or Genoa in this case)??

I have absolutely no previous experience with this, as I'm about to move away from my parents.

Any tips and information on anything concerning my situation would be highly valuable!

There are many sites in which you can find information about flats in Genoa but they are all in Italian. I hope you are able to speak this language! Genoa is a quite big city (about 600000 ) but there are many towns in the hinterland. Some towns near it are beautiful (like Zoagli ) but it think they are too expensive because they are turistic places. Anyway Genoa has a university and  because of this you can find ( not very easily in the centre ) flats for students. You could find flats on google if you write "appartamenti studenti/universitari  Genova ".

Liguria is one of the most expensive place to live in Italy because it is in the North and it is turisty.

Your question isn't so easy to answer ... I live near Genoa, in Liguria, but I'm sorry I couldn't have helped you in a better way...

P.s. do you mean queues as the time taken to find a flat or as traffic jams?

If you mean traffic jam I can assure you that queues in Genoa are endless because the territory can't let the city to have space enough..
