  1. As soon as u get into the city centre you'll go to the main shopping streets - Henry Street (cheap but keep an eye on your purse, some of the people there are dodgy, as you'll see.) There are loads of shoe shops along there...also a lot of clothing stores have a shoe section for example River Island and Miss Selfridge on Grafton Street. On your way to Grafton St u'll be walking along O'Connell street which has a huge store called Schuh that's really good (&there's a foot locker beside it, if ur into that kind of thing!)

Do not under any circumstances walk by O'Connell street and NOT go into Penneys - it is the answer to all us Irish girls' prayers! If u take the escalator downstairs you'll be in the accessories section with lots of shoes that are super cheap. They range from about €5 to €15 but you can sometimes get them cheaper in the sales & they look great!

Then on Grafton Street there are again, lots of shoe shops and clothing stores with shoes in them (Grafton street is safer than henry street, it's on the affluent side of town & it's also a more tourist-orientated place.) I recommend Office - the sales assistants are hot!

If ur interested in designer shoes then Brown Thomas is the place for them but they're super expensive & the store is huge - it's hard to find your way around!

If you're American, remember our sizes are 1 smaller than yours so if you're a 7 American, you're a 6 here. Happy shopping! Here's a link you might find useful http://www.dublinks.com/index.cfm/loc/5-...

  2. There are literally loads of shoe shops in Dublin.  There are all the UK stores (schuh, barretts, office), but there are also independent shops as well ie Zereps, Heathers etc.  Our 'city centre' is divided into two areas; Henry Street and Grafton Street they are 5 mins walking distance between each.  On the outskirts of Dublin there are a good few shopping centres with shoe shops in; Dundrum (you can get the luas (fast tram)from the top of grafton st to there), Liffey Valley and Blanchardstown, (these are quite difficult to get to if you don't have a car but not impossible).  Hope this helps
