Places to stay along west and east coast of malaysia.?

Question

Having made motorcycle trips to malaysia before on bigger bikes, I am planning to ride my Honda Wave125 round malaysia at the end of the year. Likely to ride up the west coast and down the east coast back to Singapore.

I wonder if anyone has done it before who can provide advise.

If not, any place of stay on a budget to recommend.

Any tips will be very helpful. Thanks.

Whether you are alone or with company, there are advantages n disadvantages, but either way you sure are going to enjoy this fantastic round trip !

Having visited almost the entire of peninsula [self-drive with family], the only problem i encountered during those holidays were not enough money n times !

Get yourself a good map, find out more from the web on certain places of interests so that your can better plan your trip !

Accommodation should not be a problem if you are alone n travel off peak season, meaning not during public/school holiday ! To ensure the place you stay worth the money spent, put-up on a daily basic, never just believe on picture/brochure. If its good then continue !

Sample all those local food/delicacy because i don't think you can get it easily from where you live. As long as the food store is clean, go for it !

coastal road in malaysia suck. but if u really want to try... there are many resort or budget hotel along the route.
