My family and I are taking a vacation to Cabo San Lucas for my Uncle's 50th birthday. We are going in June, and we are finding it difficult to find a place to stay. We want to stay somewhere nice, and on a swimable beach, but for a good price. There are 8 pf us. Does any one have a place they have stayed before that they would reccomend?

  1. Pueblo Bonito Resort!!! the best hotel ever.

  2. The Pueblo Bonitos (Rose or Blanco) are both on Medano beach and you can rent all the water gear there you want. The pools are very nice at these adjacent properties. Both rent and are also timeshares. Check several timeshare resale and rental sites for deals on rentals from timeshare owners. You can also ck Ebay too for timeshare rentals at Pueblo Bonito Rose or Blanco.

We have learned how to do the local little bus to get into town. It is very easy and the pickup and drop is on the street in front of both properties. It is CHEAP and so you will go into town alot for dinners.

One fun thing you might like for the birthday night is to all have dinner right on the sand next door at the Cascada resort. The "dinner on the sand" thing is only1-2 nights a week, so ask which night. The food is  very good and locale cant be beat.

  3. If you are 8 people i recommend one of the Pueblo Bonitos, Villa la Estancia, Villas del Palmar. DO NOT USE RIU HOTELS, they have hunderds of rooms and they are super crowded. If u want something better try: Fiesta Americana, Westin, Sheraton or Dreams. Now if money is not an issue try Palmilla, Esperanza or Las Ventanas al Paraíso.

  4. Stay at the Riu Palace or the Melia Cabo San Lucas.  Both are close to town, have fantastic beaches and activities, and are priced fairly reasonable in June.  Cabo is the most expensive resort town in Mexico.
