Question:

Places to stay in Cyprus

by  |  earlier

can anyone recommend a place to visit in Cyprus, ive looked at lots of hotels and read lots of reviews, but i've heard that Limissol and Paphos aren't really all that and parts are quite dirty.

I'm looking for a holiday that's relaxing and also there are other things to do.

this will be mine and my partners first holiday alone together so i want it to be a good one.

Thanks for answers :)

  1. Paphos is a lovely place. We went a couple of years ago for a friends wedding and i would go back tomorrow!! We stayed at the Hotel Laura which was a little older than the hotel that my friends stayed at but the staff where so attentive and helpful. Everyone we met was so kind and genuine. The transport in Paphos is excellent with buses running very regular and cheap. We did look into hiring a car which worked out cheap but we ended up not having enough time. There is plenty to do as well as chilling. We went down to the harbour to eat and did a bit of shopping. There is the water park which is great fun for everyone and of course the ruins. Where ever you stay will be lovely as Cyprus is an excellent place to go. Hope you have a lovely time x

  2. You will not be disappointedd with PROTARUS (I think that is how it is spelt) Fantastic place.

  3. Try Larnaca that very quite and relaxing

  4. Stey away from the resorts closest to the airport then.

  5. Why not have a look at Coral Bay area, its about

10 KM from Paphos, we stayed there a couple

of years ago and it was very relaxing holiday.

If you have a driving licence, take it with you

as they drive on the same side as the UK.

    which makes driving much easier.

Our hotel was the Coral Beach,  first class accommodation

a bit expensive but worth every penny in the end.
