Places to stay in Oktoberfest? ?

Question

A few friends, and I are planning to go to Oktoberfest this year in Munich in Germany. Can you recommend a place to stay for a weekend? I realise it may be too late to book places nearby to the event so anywhere close by (a short train / bus ride away) would also be helpful.

Try www.hostelworld.com. Look for something on the S bahn line, but be aware that these trains don't run all night ....
