I'll be arriving to Bogota at night and my next plane leaves 2pm the next day, so I have half day to go aroun town.

Which places should I visit? how much will I spend? cab fares? my budget is very limited.

Thanks

  1. There are some places you could visit, however it depends on what do you want to know there:

    -   Monserrate:  It's a mountain from where you can wath almost the whole city.  There is a souvenirs shop and a restaurant in the top of it.

    -   La Candelaria:  La Candelaria is one of the or the most traditional place in Bogota.  Its architecture is colonial.  There are some places to stay in case you decide to sleep there.

    -  Bogota Beer Company:  You can find a large number of types of beer.  It's very affordable for foraigners.

Cabe fares could be between US 1.5 and 15 if you are going throughout the city.

  2. What u want to see? Museums? Architectural? Parks?

If you want information i recommend you this page:

    Welcome to Colombia!

And remember: the only risk is wanting to stay!

  3. See the Gold museum. See Monserrate. Candelaria sucks unless you are into ancient architecture. I dont know where you are staying but any of the Oma's or Crepes have a decent breakfast. If youre not in too late, go to Carbon De Palo on 106th and 19th for a fabulous steak. There is an artesanal next door to Carbon if you want souvenirs.
