Places to visit in Salou?

I am going to Salou (Costa Dorada) next week and would like to know of any good places to go eat and drink there

Thats half the fun of it. Finding out and then coming back to tell us.

Just hang out on the beach and at the beach bar / restaurant.

It has a fab coastline there, go and see Pineda around the corner.

Goto Taragona and check out the Roman Ruins and the Bull Fighting, and then take a drive down to Vila Seca, they have some very nice restaurants.  

Porto Adventura as someone mentioned is a cheap embarassment of a theme park.  

I enjoyed Taragona.  It was wonderful.  They have an amazing garden with Roman Sculptures, and then you can go for a dip in the Mediterranean.

A day out at Port Aventura theme park is a must!

I agreee Salou itself is not very attractive so get on a train and visit other places. Getting to Barcelona is quite easy too.

I stayed there a week a few years back and the food was terrible, go for a 5* Hotel!

it is really expensive in salou but cambrills is a nice place to visit

try down back streets normally a little cheaper
