Places to volenteer/woork for the summer?

i am 14 years old. i want to volunteer or work somewhere this summer. i don't want to do it for the whole summer, maybe a couple of weeks. does anybody know any places i could volunteer/ work in around Brooklyn NY?

if you like animals, maybe a zoo or a veterinary clinic. you could also try some aged care facilities, many of the people there dont get visitors and would love the company of a younger person. you will also gain a lot of of the experience.
