Places to wait near Chester Railway Station?

Question

I have a 3 hour layover here at 2am next week. Is there somewhere to sit in the station undercover?

If not, could anyone else suggest somewhere that may be open at that time of morning where I could wait safely?

ask any staff on duty ay the time.............do the trains actually run at that time of the morning?

Poor you - I don't think there is even a waiting room on Chester station anymore.

The following sites might be of some help - the backpackers place would be cheap and they might be prepared to wait up for you if you booked in advance and told them your situation.

The station is staffed though so if you were prepared to sleep on a bench there, then I'm sure you'd be OK.

I don't envy you !! ... how on earth did you get to have such an inconvenient connection?

I don't know Chester but I'd take something warm with you (a sleeping bag or warm clothes) because it can be chilly at that time of the night
