  3. Does Canada have a history?  Geeze, I need to consult with my fellow Brit friends about that.

  4. Canadian's army major contributions on the battlefield of world war one.

    1. Vimy Ridge (France)

    2. Second Battle of Passchendaele (Belgium)

    3. Battle of the Somme  (France)

    4. Neuve Chapelle (France)

    5.  Second Battle of Ypres (Belgium)

    6.  Battle of Verdun (France)

    7. Battle of Arras (France)

    8. Battle of Cambrai  (France)

Canada's total casualties stood at 67,000 young men and women killed and 173,000 wounded. These figures are disproportionately high considering Canada's total population of 7 million on the eve of WWI.
