  1. There are great beaches all along the NSW coast, kids love the sand. I take my 3 boys to the beach all the time, make sure to pack the tonka trucks... they will be occupied for hours!

  2. Beaches!

  3. Yes, I agree beaches are great places to visit for the whole family! There are many gorgeous beaches in Sydney too so ur in luck! Go for a swim then sit back and have a pre-prepared picnic or else grab some fish n chips at a cafe there.

Other places include national parks such as royal national park near sutherlands or other major parks such as bi-cenntial or centennial park- you can enjoy some walking, bike riding , sport activties n many more there.

  4. Adventures by Disney offers some family friendly options in the itinerary section of their Australian Family Vacations page.

  5. Try Symbio Animal Park - it's located South of Sydney near Helensburgh. It's been around for years!

Cheaper than a traditional Zoo. On your way in you can buy an icecream cone with grain in it to feed the free wandering animals throughout the park. They have live shows that are interractive too.

  6. Snorkelling, fishing, prawning, beaches, bike riding, camping.

You could do these in many places, but the central coast might be a good start.

Also you could visit the snow, Jenolan caves, Blue Mountains, Canberra - these may be more expensive, depending on what you do there.

  7. LOL @ the first answer.. Liverpool Westfields? Its the same as other shopping centres.. but there are alot of problems there.

There are alot of places.. How about Sydney Harbour? And then catch a ferry to luna park.. or the zoo?

There used to be a good theme park in the western suburbs, but its long gone now :( and i miss it so much..

  8. There are a number of ideas on the NSW Tourism website, both free and otherwise.

Have you considered a picnic in Centennial Park and hiring a bike or a buggie to ride around in.

What about fishing. There is no restrictions on you fishing with your children, no licence required.

Also there are a couple of other places that I have listed below that might help. Enjoy!
