  1. While getting a pickup order, you don't need to tip, but since you're nice enough to, it should go to whoever serves you.  Which might just be a cashier.

Some places also collect all the tips together and split them evenly every so often, so in a place like that, it wouldn't even matter.

  2. the server.  they work for tips, hence how they make their money.  the cooks make a nice wage.  PS. who puts the actual order together?

  3. no not for a pick up unless you really really want to. You're not really getting service by watching the person walk to the counter with your bag, and ringing you up. There are no plates to clean, or bring out. There are no drinks to replenish, no requesting more time from the waitstaff while you decide what to order. So this is why I say it's totally up to the individual if they want to tip or not while getting take out.

Besides most establishments have the waitstaff tip the cooks at the end of the day.

  4. NOBODY!!

  5. server

they do all the work to get it out for you and make sure that it is what you want

andddd if you are not satisfied they are ussually the ones that have to listen to you complaine about your order when they didnt even do anything

Give them the tip ! make everyone happy !!!

  6. You tip on how good the food is...and the service...so I think that they should split the tip
