Question:

Plan B and ovulating?

I got my regular period on July 15-20. On the 25th of July I took Plan B, this made me get my period A LOT EARLIER( I got it on August 2nd) If it weren’t for Plan B I would of gotten it on the 15ish of August. Does this mean I won’t be ovulating in August, since I got my period in August already? Or does Plan B work different?

I’m just curious to know. Did it mess up your cycle? How?

  1. In general Plan B mess up your cycle but it does not mean you would not ovulate for sure. Just be kindly informed that the best modern contraception is dual contraception  Read more about Plan B and dual contraception low

  2. Plan B doesn't affect ovulation,  it promotes the shedding of the lining of the uterus so the egg will NOT attach. Ovulation will occur as normal, and take your pill as you normally do.
