Question:

Plan B pill...any experience?

i took it yesterday(saturday) and the accident happened thursday night. should i be worried that it's not going to work? i've heard it doesn't work all the time. has it worked for you? and should i take a pregnancy test?

  1. you wont be able to tell if your pregnant right now, wait until your period, and it worked for me and i waited like 5 days before i take it, its good for like a week after the acident


  2. although they say you have 72 hours, the longer you leave it, the higher the chances of pregnancy are. Just take a pregnancy test to be sure.

  4. Two experiences for me.  The first time, I barely made the 72 hr window.  The second was well within it.  Both worked.

    Each time, my period was a bit "different", in that it was either a bit later (or earlier) and was a somewhat irregular for the next month or two.  The periods themselves weren't any heavier or lighter, though.

    Given your timeframes, you should be fine.  

    As foir pregnancy tests, I'd wait until you were at least a week beyond your expected period date, simply b/c Plan B can cause you to be a bit late.
