  1. oh my gosh -what an assignment!  What the heck are they thinking asking you to do this?  Well let's see - I guess we do some diverse activities by having two children come up front and point out their sames and differences and can they still be friends -  of course they can.  We glue three different colors of hands and print at the top "we will love others as ourselves."  Does this help at all?  I guess I am not even aware of the right expressed in the UN convention so I am probably not even helping you at all.  sorry -wish I could help you more.

  2. I can think of plenty of activities for 4 year olds like making puppets out of paper lunch sacks, but how to make it relate to all the other stuff - I have no idea!

I don't even understand that. How is a 4 year old supposed to understand it. They just don't care! They just want to PLAY!

  3. From a child development point of view, a four year old has no capacity for abstract thinking required to understand the concepts of self expression, cultural identity, or freedom from exploitation. Four year olds can mimic what you say to them, but in no way do they have an ability to comprehend these higher concepts.

Maybe you are not understanding the assignment? Would like to help, sorry.
