Plane tickets, I need help with explanation

Hi I have a booked flight from Manchester to Spain

DEPART 13:40

ARRIVE 16:35

But now I am flying back to Manchester from Spain

DEPART 17:15

ARRIVE 18:05

IS it 17:05, Spanish time or UK?

  1. your arrival time will be the time it will be at your destination.


  2. As you might expect, departure times are shown in the time zone of the departing airport, and arrival times are shown in the time zone of the arriving airport. Your return flight leaves at 17:15 continental time.

    Also, look at the two pairs of times -- your outbound flight seems to take three hours but your return flight takes only one hour. Of course both flights are really two hours, with a one hour time change.

  3. The times are always local, so departing the UK at 13.40 would be uk time and arriving at 16.35 would be spanish time.

    So coming back its 17.15 spanish time landing at 18.05 uk time.

    This is why the flights look different lengths because of the time zones.

  4. All ticket times are in local time, so yes.
