Anyone have a lot of squares in their charts...but when you start researching these and possible meanings and obstacles...have you found that they are actually more positive rather than negative in your chart....? (when you look at the entire chart i mean)...?

I have Mercury square pluto - but i see this more as a positive than a negative (as an example).

Anyone else notice anything similar in their charts - negative aspects that actually seem positive to you?

  1. I'm glad you realized this..

as you know the positions of the signs in the circle determines what is square and how it is going to be aspected, terming it "negative" is just saying they are not familiar with each other, so ones positive the other ones negative.

although its not like conjunct or sextiles that they know how to operate each other because they have a lot in common, and literally has the same traits.. while squares are much different from each other, it doesnt mean your disabled, but it means that your trying to relate 2 different things, and when you do, comes awareness and so many many things that the conjuncts and sextiles would only dream of knowing, simply because they cannot know and learn anything else than which they are.

squares are much more active than sextiles/trine aspects. they are ussualy hard on the individual in the early stages of his/her life. squares would only be bad if the individual lets the negative square traits run his life. the key is to conquer that gap and differences and be a more balanced and knowledgeable person

  2. As a professional astrologer, one of the things that I learned very quickly is that the hard aspects (square, oppositions, and some conjunctions if the two planets do not get along well) actually are the planets that provide us opportunities for growth.  Of course, we look at them initially with tredidation, but the end result is often much more beneficial to the individual than their "good" aspect (sextiles, and trines) counterparts.  I tell my clients to love their squares because they are energy components of the horoscope.

  3. My squares didn't work in my twenties but later they did. I have Mercury (6th) square MC and it works"very well" as I am without job since 7 years.

Each aspect works, it is only question of the time. When is going to happen, know only very good Astrologers.
