I read someones answer to my question earlier and it mentioned a planet 100's of light years away that has the same properties of Earth. Does anyone know where I can read more about this as it sounds interesting.

  1. I don't know about the 100's of light years away but a planet like the one your talking about could be Gliese 581c 20.5 light-years away.

  2. don't know but book me a ticket out of this h**l hole ASAP

  3. google- exoplanets, exra solar planets and the planet Gilese.

  4. No planet recently discovered has proven to contain water.

  5. I don't think even NASA know that 100's of light years away there is a planet similar to earth.

  6. Gliese 581c is probably the best "Earth" candidate so far, although it has been argued that the planet may well have a runaway greenhouse effect, like Venus.
