ok so me and my bf want to go on a cruise next summer and my parents are going to pay for it as a graduation gift.....but i have a couple of questions

-we want to go in June but I'll only be 17 and my birthday is in July should I just wait till I'm 18?

-what would be the best cruise ship for a 19 year old guy and a almost 18 year old girl?

-what would be the best place to go we thought about the Bahamas or Jamaica or maybe even Mexico but were not sure

sorry for all the questions we are just kind of lost but we really want to plan this thanks for all your help so any suggestions would work

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. You need someone 25 or older in the room with you.

  2. You will have to go with your parents if you are 17 or 18. Cruise ships state you must be at least 21 years of age to cruise without an adult. Some even say 25. They would make an exception if you were married though. For a first cruise, I would choose Bahamas or the Caribbean. Mexico could be fun, and Jamaica is kind of far away, but the Caribbean would be perfect. My first cruise was the Caribbean. You can go to a web site like Princess.com or vacations to go to get an idea of what is available next June or July.

  3. some cruise lines may not allow you to go if you are under age at the time so wait till july it is only one month and than you go go and not have a problem. check with the cruise line first to see what the rules are.
