What parks should we go to?

What hotel? (Price range ($100-$150) a night)

Whats else is there to do? I know there is alot more in Orlando but we arent going to have time to decide on where to go.

  1. well i'd go to disney world and go to 3 of their pakrs.

    magic kingdom

    epcot

    hollywood studios.

i don't recommend the 4th park animal kingdom at all.

    i'd stay on disney property.

you may be able to get into a moderate resort like caribbena beach hotel for $150 but you may not depending on what the room rate is when you go.

i'd stay at pop century which is a value resott and its super nice. and only costs $82 per night. sometimes up to $129 but that is only during the peek time of year like between christmas and new years.

i've stayed there many times. i love that hotel.

well if you are going to 3 of the disney world parks you won't have time to do anything else in orlando itself.

with that time you may be able to sneak in a bit of time in downtown disney to shop and eat at a nice restaurant.

if you are going before sept 27th 2008 then you could go to downtown disney's pleasure island it has some great night life but disney wants to make it more family orientated so after sept 27th pleasure island will be shut down and more shopping and restaurants will eventually take its place.

  2. I can suggest you some nice and affordable hotels. Its upto you to make it romantic.

    Embassy Suites Orlando Downtown

    191 E Pine St

    Orlando, FL 32801-2736

    (407) 841-1000

    Days Inn

    5827 Caravan Ct

    Orlando, FL 32819-7901

    (407) 351-3800

The rest of the info are available in the following website

  3. My boyfriend and I are also going to Orlando soon. If you only want to go to Disney World then I would recommend staying at either Pop Century resort or one of the All-Stars. ($82 a night during the value seasons) They're the cheapest resorts on Disney property but are also very nice. If you stay on Disney property they also give you a free bus shuttle to and from the airport and they take of your luggage. They also have buses that take you to and from the park for free.

If you want to go to Universal Studios then you could also do that and stay on Disney property but they have no transportation for that. You would have to take a taxi. Universal has more thrill rides and roaller coasters, Disney has some thrill rides but most are just fun, creative experiences.

Go to intercot.com if you have any other questions about planning your trips or if you want any information about the parks.

  4. St. Augustine is closer to you and it is a beautiful town.  Find a romantic bed and breakfast and enjoy each others company.

  5. As for the parks, it depends on what you like. Universals Islands of Adventure has the best rides. Disney's Animal Kingdom has good rides beautiful landscaping and of course the wonderful animals. Disney's Epcot Center is a great place for discovery. One of my favorite areas of Epcot is where they have different countries represented. Epcot also has beautiful landscaping. These 3 parks are my favorite.

For the hotel I recommend the Gaylord Palms Resort Hotel. They have a beautiful atrium depicting different places of Florida. Key West, the Everglades and the Spanish castle in St Augustine. Some of the rooms are within your price range.

Since you will only be in town for a short time, I recommend Downtown Disney. It's a market place with entertainment, shops, restaurant's and a movie theater.

I hope this helps. What ever you do, have a great time and welcome to Florida.

  6. Wow my boyfriend and I were just on AIM trying to figure out a romantic get away.

We have family in Orlando, so not too romantic, and we're in GA as well.

I would say go to Universal Studios, they have it all especially for adults. At night they have City Walk, there are bars and clubs. You can see if you can get a package deal check the websites like Orbitz and what not. Or priceline, but they make you commit before you know where you'll be staying ( don't know about that)

There is alot of stuff to do in Orlando as far as parks and etc, but you could also go out toward the coast and check out the excursions and google Orlando and what you like to do ex. [ Orlando - parasailing] You can find alot in and around the City.

    Good Luck

  7. Try the site below... there are tons to do in Orlando you just have to sort them out see what you 2 would like. The site gives great hotel suggestions some even have really good discounts.

    http://www.visitflorida.com/Orlando

  8. one thing that i can definitely suggest to you is this hotel....it's called the castle doubletree hotel or something like that. google it and the website will come up. gorgeous is not the word to describe it, and it's right in orlando so i definitely recommend ! have a great and safe trip

  9. You have to go to Disney original! Animal Kingdom is cool!

Blizzard beach and typhoon Lagoon are awesome water parks!

    A nice resteraunt

Melting Pot: you melt{cook} your own food. (Like Steak, Shrimp, etc)

At the end you melt chocolate and dip strawberries and stuff! Romantic but not too much romance!

    For a hotel I have a link:http://travel.yahoo.com/p-hotel-19150191...

I liked the first one :)

To do when you are sick of theme parks:

Go to the beach New Symerna 1 hour drive It is nice!

Go to the springs Kelly Park is nice and relaxing:) yet fun!

The Florida Mall is the largest mall in Orlando, one of the largest single-story malls in the USA at over 1,849,000 sq ft (171,800 m2) with over 250 stores, seven anchor department stores, and the Florida Mall Hotel & Conference Center Tower.

The Mall at Millenia is a contemporary two-level upscale shopping mall, including the world-famous department stores of Bloomingdale's, Macy's, and Neiman Marcus. IKEA Orlando opened adjacent to the mall on November 14, 2007.

Orlando Fashion Square is the nearest indoor shopping mall to Downtown Orlando. The mall features 4 anchor department stores and a 14-screen Premiere Cinema theater.

Festival Bay Mall on International Drive is home to stores, a skate park, and a theater. The Ron Jon Surf Park is currently under construction.

    Good Luck Peachy01

  10. One thing I can advise you is to check out the website;  OrlandoWelcomeCenter.com.   You will see how you can possibly stay at a resort, instead of your average hotel.

  11. I wouldn't do that.  He'll just get you drunk, pass you around, and you'll end up on a 'Girls Gone Wild' video if you can convince them you're old enough.  Regrets will follow, along with a round of 'who my baby daddy'...

  12. go to expedia.com, they have wonderful options and really help when you need area information.

  13. Universal has one day 2 theme parks and its really good because you get to go to both parks and do all the rides, but if you do go to universal I suggest staying at one of their park hotels because the room key is fast pass and you skip all the lines. Trust me its good, but the hotels are in the little expensive side. One person did say the double tree castle hotel, I have stayed their before and its really pretty. Plus their is this restaurant connected to the hotel and its called cafe tutu tango. Sometimes  flamenco dancers, poets, artist, and musicians perform while you eat! Discovery Cove is pretty cool because you can swim with the dolphins. If you have questions e-mail me.
