Planned parent hood? Cost? What do i need?

well im 16 and sexually active with my boyfriend. i have never been to PPH. but i was wondering what is the price to get a usual check up? and how much do birth control pills cost? what do i need to bring when i go over there? i set my appontment this monday at 3:30 im really unsure what to do. i set it online they wont leave me messages with answers. please help! thanks..

Call and ask them. I called PPH one time and they told me the BC pills were over a hundred dollars and I think they refered me to this other clinic that was closer to me and it was free at the time. Now they charge like $3 a pack. The check up at the other clinic was free. I just brought my nervous self. But do call them to make sure. If its expensive, you should try other health clinics by your house.

Okay there, is NO way that the visit is $400.00 or that the birth control pills are $100.00. I have worked in a private GYN office for 17 years and WE don't even charge that much.

Just call their office and speak directly to someone. If you can't do that then drive by their office and speak to someone directly. I have gotten prices before for patients but I really don't remember what they were. But I do remember them being incredibly reasonable.

Just make the call.  BCP are great but use a condom.  I guarantee long time painful, chronic herpes outbreaks or AIDS is far worse than any baby would be. Protect yourself.

I woudl call and ask each area is different and require different things and have different costs. Sometimes it is based on income.
