I'm wanting to move to Kelowna BC next year by myself (couple months before im 20) for about a year (or maybe permanently) to get away from where i am now (northern bush town in Saskatchewan) & wanting to know.. if its a good place to live or is it more fun just if ur touristing...?.. Whats the range of cost of rent/living? .. are there alot of apartments or is it all condo's and stuff..?.. How are the people.. ( Im wanting to find a good guy ;) ) lol... I was thinking of saving about 5-8 grand to get started.. would that last me a while or is rent outrageous and at like 8-9 hundred bucks..??

Any help would be awesome..

  1. Congrats on getting out on your own!  Kelowna is quite beautiful and although its big time tourist town it has gotten very large in the last few years and as with all things the bigger it gets the more expensive it gets. But dont let that discourage you, no matter where you live you can find affordable living, its just a matter of taking the time, also look for a place thats not in the touristy area's.  You might want to try their website for more info.  Its kelownabc.com
