I'd like to have suggestions on pricing and items that people would like to buy at a bake sale. How can I catch the eyes of our customers?

What are some bake sale "Hits"?

  1. Those really large pretzel sticks can be dipped in white or milk chocolate, then rolled in nuts, mini chips or toasted coconut, then wrap in plastic wrap and tie around the bottom with a ribbon. I would charge at least 50 to 75 cents for one. Also cut out cookies seem to go well. Also cookie pops where you make  a round sugar cookie and stick a lollipop stick into it. These can also be sold individually with a ribbon around them. And we did really well with loaves of homemade bread. Good luck!

  2. I made cupcakes for a bake sale but for extra zing I put a lollipop in the center of it with curly ribbon tied around it. I think they were sold for 75 cents.

  3. Yeah!

  4. Cupcakes always sell out!! Make them pretty with colorful frosting and sprinkles!! They are easier than cakes because there is no slicing involved, and they look so Cute! ;) I usually sell them for 75 cents. Chocolate Chip Cookies are popular too. I sell them for 25-50 cents, depending how big they are. Brownies a good too. To catch the eyes of the customers, make sure everything is pretty and on cute trays. Make sure there are different kinds of food there( ie not all Chocolate Chip Cookies!!)  Variety is the spice of life! Make sure everything is yummy LOL.

  5. Lemon bars are always attractive.  Scotcharoos are a big hit.  Bags of carmel corn.  Brownies, of course.  Pecan pies for some reason go over well, as most pies do anyway.

A nice variety of cookies, anyone can make chocolate chip so try for something different.

I would think 2.50 for a dozen cookies, 4.00 for a pie, 6 brownies or bars for 2.00.

  6. Anything with a lot of chocolate always looks good.  Anything that looks really decadent or rich.  You also might want to offer a small selection of sugar-free or low fat items and make sure you label that they are healthy (or healthier).

  7. I have always done Angel Food Cake and sold out every time.

  8. At the bake sale I had before, to get the attention of the customers I decorated the table with bright and loud colors and when they saw my brownie muffins just for 50 cents each I earned 60 dollars, I had some sugar cookies and chocolates too but especially the brownie muffins were popular! MY price range was from 25 cents to a dollar depending on the quantity of the item!

  9. I THINK THAT TACOS,HOTDOGS,BURRITOS,POPUSAS,QUESADILL... CARNE ASADA, AND SO ON. HAVE LOTS OF VARIETYS SO PEOPLE COULD BE INTERESTED IN YOUR BAKE SALE. IF YOU'RE BAKE SALE IS ONLY DESERTS GO FOR CAKES,FLAN,BREAD,MUFFINS,CHEESECAKES,ICE... CAKES,SUNDAES,NACHOS,CHILI FRITOS,AND STUFF LIKE THAT,YOU'RE BAKE SALE WILL BE A BLOW OUT!!!!!!!!!
