Planning a London Christmas - New Years holiday - how/when to get tickets?

I support one of the Big Four (won't say, to avoid you haters) but just want to catch a match that week for any London club, prem or championship, that will have a good atmosphere and won't cost a fortune (maybe $100/ticket, 50 quid). Suggestions?

  1. Well... i think your best bet for a Premiership game would be Fulham. Their games go on General Sale for Premiership games and being an Arsenal fan i know you have to book two months in advance of the game AND be a member. Tickets in the Premiership at Arsenal are never on General Sale. I can't imagine Chelsea being any different, the only games that will go on sale at a big club will be Carling Cup. So if you want a Premiership team Fulham is your best bet.

I did a little search on the Fulham website and the tickets for a game against Bolton in September (Premiership) are on General Sale and you can buy as many as you like.

I know you asked for a game in December, but i was just looking for proof that Premiership games go on General sale.
