Okay, i have twins. Boy & Girl. Their birthday is the 15th of august, and the party is going to be saturday because friday we want it to be just us. For the girl, she has 5 friends coming over. For the boy, he has 5 as well. It's going to be a pool party, and we're going to have the slip & slide, sprinklers, and of course, the pool!. All 10 kids are sleeping over after the party, and we're using our den which can fit 12 children. We have 2 game systems, a Playstation 2 and the Nintendo wii, which they can all play. Are there any good games you know of? I was thinking of letting them camp out in the backyard, you know, roast marshmallows, and just hang out. What do you think? Please mention games that are fun and not boring!

  1. Karaoke would be fun if someone already has a machine.

  2. nada não filha

  3. sounds fun!

although my suggestion is to not have the boys and girls share a room to sleep in.

    they might feel awkward.

i think they should be occupied for along time!

you could also do a scavenger hunt!

    boys vs. girls.

it could be something where you make a list of things such as

    -penny from 2003

    -bobby pin

    -magazine from last year

    -anything like that

and then have them race around the neighborhood, and ask the neighbors if they have any of those things.

the first to collect everything wins!

another way to do a scavenger hunt is in the mall. it could be similar to the above, or with a camera.

    like

-take a picture with a baby

-get a job application from a teen clothing store

    anything like that!

however, your party sounds fun already, so i wouldn't be too worried about it!

    :)

  4. Actually, I think that what you have planned is perfect! Especially the campout in the back yard.

  5. spin the bottle....lol they might like that... but having them slleep in the same room and having them over at the same time isnt a brillient idea to me.

  6. you can play hide and seek outside when it gets dark! its really fun!!!

The camping in the backyard thing sounds fun too.

They could tell ghost stories while they are by the campfire.

    sounds like a fun party!

  7. all sounds good but not to be a prude but I would be sleeping them in seperate areas. i have boy girl twins too and this is something I have thought about too.

  8. Seems like you got it all down. But here is a tip:

Don't stick to a schedule, but make one up to see an overview of what MIGHT happen. Here is an example:

3:00-6:00: Playing at the pool and stuff, with some music cranked up, and a table of fruits, sweets, soda and water.

    6:00-6:45: Have dinner

    6:45-7:30: Cake and gifts

7:30-8:30: I would suggest doing something to let the kiddos run off their sugar, instead of sitting down and roasting even more sugar. I would suggest talking about this with your kids. You might even want to leave this part blank, because in most parties, they do their own thing. But one thing that will really be nice at this time is dancing to their favorite songs, and to add up a nice touch, pretend your kitchen is a bar and have the children create mixes of some healthy and fun drinks like juices, or even making some smoothies.

8:30-9:30: The Wii and playstation will do at this time. And you might see the girls going off to one other section in the den and just sitting in a circle and talking, this is natural, don't think that the party is getting boring, it's just a thing that 11-year old girls do.Oh and make sure before all the kids do this one-hour activity make sure they are in their pajammers. After this, tell them to brush their teeth and come back.(expect it to take a while!)

9:30-whenever: Play some comedy movies and expect them to fall asleep during this time. Many children like to sleep VERY late though, so if you catch a few kids running around at 3:00 AM, and you are awake, ask them if they want anything to drink or eat. Tell them that they should probably start going to bed because you don't want them to be sluggish and weak in the morning. At least have them snuggle up their sleeping bags and whisper.

In the morning, either let them leave early, or have a small breakfast and collect everything then leave.

A few MAJOR tips: Don't assume the children think it is boring, only change up some activities if your OWN child says so.

Next, expect some children to be rebelious and stuff. Hearing a curse word or two is normal at the boys' age, but keep caution if a girl says a very bad one. The words, "g*y, c**p, and h**l" and not bad words to them, as it is the newest slang.

Talk this out to your children more!!

If you figure you have some free time in the party, nothing beats a nice pinata!!

  9. SPIN THE BOTTLE? who the h**l plays spin the bottle at eleven? unless you want your child sneaking around kissing everyone then NO ... that is a bad idea....

hide and seek...... fun...... scary story telling.........cool.......... roasting marshmellows.........ok................ maybe watching a movie outside with all their camping gear huddled together, popcorn, candy, drinks........the works.......good luck

  10. Gestures the board game is really fun they group up (boy vs girls) and they act out the work the game gives them....oooh and root beer floats are always a good treat too.  i would say water baloon fights but girls are SISSYS lol jk but that game is a must check it out

  11. well you have it pretty much down but a water balloon toss game with prizes never hurts and when there swimming put music on awater ballon battle is also fun

  12. the back yard is a great idea!

Story is fun. One person starts and then each person adds to it ..

Dancing is great fun too ...

  13. sounds good to me. camping is better tho because 12 kids in one room of the oppisite s*x.....yeah you get the idea.

they can play out door hide n see but dont leave the chainsaw my bro cut his foot open when they were playing outdoor hide n seek in the dark

  14. If you are wondering, go on google and look for games. But I suggest cops and robbers, murder (which isn't how it looks),truth or dare picked out of a hat. and just ask your kids what they want to  do..
