  1. decorate the tables in the colors of the birthstones. have horoscope type info sheets on the different astrological signs on each table- list of famous people born on exact dates of members bdays. you can have everyone bring in a baby picture of themselves- stick them up on a wall with a # by it and hand out a worksheet where they try to guess who is who's baby picture.

  2. Jan-Winter theme-snowmen ,scarves,mittens

    Feb-Valentines theme- hearts etc...

    March-St Patricks Day theme -green,shamrocks

    April-Shower theme-umbrellas,rubber boots,rubber duckiesLOL

    May-May Day theme- flowers

    June-Summer theme-suns,swimming stuff

    July -4th theme-Red White & Blue

    August-Camping theme.marshmallows,jiffy pop, flashlights

    Sept-Back to school theme- books , backpacks,pens,pencils

    Oct-Harvest Theme- pumpkins.corn stalks,gourds

    Nov-Thanksgiving theme-pilgrims.turkeys

Dec -Christmas theme- ornaments, wrapping paper, gift boxes

  3. Have a buffet -style lunch or dinner. Have everyone make a large foil pan of the food of their choice. Have everyone make something different and write down who's bringing what so that way you won't have too much of one thing. Have some people bring paper plates, cups, napkins, spoons, forks, knives, beverages, ice, etc.

  4. Make each table's decoration the color of that month's gemstone:

January - Garnet (wine / burgundy)

    February - Amethyst (purple)

March - Aquamarine (pale, pale blue)

    April - Diamond (clear, iridescent)

May - Emerald - deep green

June - Pearl or Alexandrite (round white, or color-changing purple/red)

July - Ruby - deep red

    August - Peridot- lime green

September - Sapphire - cornflower to navy blue

October - Opal or Rose Zircon (color-changing white or light pink)

    November - Topaz - golden

December - Blue Zircon - light blue

There are flowers for each month too, but I don't know them:) .... Maybe print up general horoscopes for each month; roll them and tie them with the right colored ribbon, at each place setting.......
