Planning a cruise to Italy, any recommendations on...?

My best friend and I are planning to take a cruise to Italy in a year or so.

Any recommendations on which cruise line?

And advice, how much money should I bring?

we did a royal Caribbean cruise for 14 days  covered Spain France Italy Greece and Croatia.. It was like a wine tasting of sorts because we found many places to go back to on vacation.  You do save money eating on the ship but you pay for that because you lose the Italian experience of being at your dinner table 9 pm done at 12 and off to the club from 1230 to 4am

Other note on money..the dollar is way down in Italy so bring alot. I was in Italy in Sep for 3 week and my wife and I spent over 10,000 USD

I dunno about cruising but i know about money. One dollar is worth about 1.30 there. and stuff thats here is alot cheaper
