Hey guys,

I want to plan a half-day trip to Tortola on the ferry since it's pretty cheap but it seems there's not much to do after looking at what everyone's saying. Aren't there any good beaches or sites to check out? since the ferry leaves early on weekends I probably can't stay for a full moon party. What are some good things to do, that are Tortola specific. I've been to st. thomas, st. john, virgin gorda, jost van d**e and all that, i'm only interested in tortola. Debating if I should go or not or just spend more time here. Thanks

  1. I always feel it's worth checking out different places. It's never a waste if you have adventure in your soul. I think it's worth the trip.

You have a variety of things to do, shopping, dining, fishing, water sports, visiting the National Parks, Historic sites (Dungeon,Fort George, Folk Museum)

Here is a website, check it out. Check the Events and Festivals calendar, maybe something interesting is going on.

You even have the Colliwood Rum Distillery where they still make rum. Have lunch at the Marina in Roadtown.

Go and enjoy a different island.)

  2. Dolphin discovery

    horseback riding

Music fest will be in tortola this weekend, till I think Tuesday.

That should be an event (I never went) but I amagine there would be lots of food venders and such.
