Planning a ladies get together!?

Question

a group of housewives go on a holiday to a holiday farmhouse and by sharing the cost, they buy a pig for a feast. Not a large one but a small fat one.

They have helped in this with their husbands before with larger ones but this time it is with a smaller pig which they can control physically.

Will they be considered as selfish or bad women if they kill & butcher the pig themselves for it's pork?

How should they cook the pork later?

I don't see a reason why you are being selfish, i'm sure the piggie has had a great life and would provide delicious pork.

It is hard work and very messy but you go girls! Try slow basting the meat with a mixture of oil,herbs and a bit of garlic, that will be nice.
