Hello:

Am driving this Summer to Montreal for a few nights and then we thought we would head to Mont Tremblant. Are we better off going the other direction to Quebec City?

  1. I agree - it really depends on what kind of activities and/or experiences you'll be looking for or aiming for this summer.

    The city or the countryside?

    The choice is yours!

P.S. I have been to both places more than once and they both have a lot to offer and have their very own advantages and charms - believe me! Have fun at either destination!

By the way, Mont-Tremblant is a helluva lot closer to Montreal than Quebec City!

    See for yourself!

To Mont-Tremblant in the Laurentides region:

    To Quebec City:

  2. They are both beautiful places but I prefer Quebec City.  There's just more to see and do.

  3. It depends on what type of experience you're looking for, if you're wanting a big city feel, then Quebec City is perfect. But if you're wanting more of a natural environment with scenery taking the spotlight, than Mont Tremblant would be a better choice.

Quite frankly, I would go to Mont Tremblant ... Quebec City is just a big city and isn't particularly unique (it is full of old world character/charm though), and Mont Tremblant I think would be more memorable.
