  1. Hi.  I'm in the process of booking a trip to Europe ffrom Australia or myself and my 2 daughters..and although l have no idea what your airfares will cost from USA to UK.. l can tell you that you can get really cheap flights within Europe with Ryanair & Easyjet. Initially.. l thought the cheapest accom would be to stay in Youth Hostels..but NO !!.. most of them are c**p ( look fine..sound fine..until you read the reviews..:-). Anyway.. if you are planning on spending 3 or more days in any one place..it is actually cheaper to stay in an apartment than a hotel or hostel.  Hotels and hostels charge per person..and the rate doesn't generally get lower per person..the more you have.  Apartments are cheap. Our London apartment only costs 80 pounds per night.  Our apartment in Paris beside the Eiffel Tower - $185.00 USD per night. Here's links to the Airlines & apartment companies l've used.

    Hope this helps :-)

  2. If you are planning next year Start with Dublin,Ireland for St. Patrict in March Best and biggest celebration.People are friendlier than any european country and speaks english.Visit the Guinness house and get a free guinnes staight from the brewer,Jameson Distillery and be certified whiskey taster (they give u a certificate if u join the whiskey tasting),Christchuch,TEmple bar and enjoy and dance to the Irish/Traditional music and u can easily meet people from different places.Or option is go to the west of Ireland very very nice scenery n historic sight. From Dublin take a bus or train or fly to Uk.

By bus-take eurobus but the journey is longer(the bus will go in the ferry 5 hours in the boat to holy head)from there the bus will drive 8 hrs/ more to london.. We usually do by train/fly.Train-from dublin port a boat or ferry will take u to holyhead about 2 hours (Wales) then train connect straight to Pancreas Station in London (5hrs).

Or by flying-Book a flight to Ryan air, its very cheap, sometime flights are just 10 euro return or even less to London. Book in advance . London is nice, lots to see but the people are not that friendly compared to the Irish. From london take a train to Paris (in Pacreas) i think its 1.5 or 2 hours the train (eurostar). Then from France u can decide which way u wanna go 1st. because theres train that goes to Belguim,amsterdam,germany,spain,italy,et... Eurail pass is a good value if you are traveling many EU countries..

Book early flights to Ireland for March St.Patrict (aer lingus has great deals from boston/NY)

  3. well, it really depends what time of the year you are going to europe. it is definitely a lot cheaper during the off seasons and you can pay half the price for a plane ticket. id recommend going during an off season that way you can save money which is necessary due to the weak dollar.

  4. If you're plan ahead like 1-2 months, plane fares from boston to the uk is around $400-450 USD.  From there its either Plane, Train, or Boats/Ferrys.  Plane tickets can be expensive so maybe go with the train. For london to paris consider the Chunnel, Which is the underground rail thats beneath the English channel.  And if your only going to a few Countries consider the Eurail Select Pass, lets you go to, at max, four different countries for a reasonable price.  Check the link I set up, I'm using it to plan my Euro trip.

  5. EXPENSIVE

lol dude im not exactly sure but the flights alone will cost about $700
