Planning a trip to London?

Question

Hey - I am planning to have a 2 day trip to london for my birthday with 3 friends (we're all 16). We'll be going on the 1st and 2nd of August.

Is there anyhting on - attractions etc?? And what are the best places in london for tourism, shopping, culture, and food?

me and my bf went to london last year for a weekend we bought tickets for the big bus tour, it was great theirs 3 different bus routs the red green and blue and u can hop on and hop off wer u want, it also gives u a free ride on the thames boat, i thought it was great. its about 20 pounds a ticket and is valid for 2 days i think...

The big sights I would suggest are: Buckingham Palace (Victoria/Green Park) then walk up the Mall to T Square then walk to Covent Garden.  Hit Oxford Street for high street stores or Camden Market for something off beat.  South Bank (Waterloo) is also good - lots to eat and plenty of street entertainment.  You can pick up a map from a vending machine on most tube station platforms that gives you money of vouchers and enables you to walk around central London.

i was thinking of going to london on 19 july  for my sons birthday and rang london dungeons about waiting time, i was told to expect a 3 hour wait !!

because you are going in the summer holidays try and get to the attractions early or later on in the day to avoid the heavy

hi there i live in london, great place to visit if your visiting central london, what kind of things aree you planning on doing, if you are site seeing then you should go ton london dungeons and madame tussauds and trocodero (think thats the correct spelling) i think if you look online there are usually 2 for 1 offers on or packages so you can do everything in a weekend,

london can be quite expensive hotels are very very expensive in central london, you would be better off staying out of central london then travelling by train, email me if you want some more advice

be careful if you are traveling down alone xx

There is lots to do;

you can see a show in the west end

madame tuassades is great fun

London Eye

visit harrods

shopping on bond street

visit leicster Square, some lovely restaurants and cafes

covent garden market is great

Bus tour

Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, house of parliament.

there is loads to do but you wont get it all done in two days so prioritise what you would like to do first.
