Planning a tripp and i need to work out the details..help!?

ok so

im 17 and im going to be 18 in early october and i wanted to book a flight and hotel room for a college visit by myself sometime in september, i have friends up there one of which is 18 and i know theres gonna be problems with the hotel so any advice for that? and its okay to book your own flight at 17 yeah?

im just makin sure so its a smooth trip!

You shouldn't have any trouble at all getting a flight.  But hotels vary, sometimes you have to be at least 21 to check in.  So just call around to a few hotels and make sure you don't have to be 21.  Good luck and have fun!
