I want to plan a vacation to London for next year with my best friend (we currently live in Florida)...any advice as to where to stay, how long to stay, what to see, etc? We would like to stay in a good, clean, fun, safe part of the city, with alot of stuff closeby (we are both in our early twenties). We will have about $3000 each...Also, where are the best places to go to meet hot guys and young people to party with? :) Any advice would be very appreciated, I have no clue where to start!

  1. they say that you should really start at Windsor castle and say hi to the queen, and say hi to me!!!

  2. In London you will find plenty to see and do such as the tower of London the London eye London zoo madam Tussuad's the planetarium lots of museums all free lots of shows to see in the west end and this is just a small part of it you also have the changing of the guard at Buckingham palace at 11am and 4pm most days not during very wet weather as for hotels i would suggest you will find the expensive in central London but if you do a search through google for a bed and breakfast you will find some very nice and reasonable places to stay ignore what anyone may tell you about high crime rates London is as safe as any city in Britain as long as you take normal precautions like not flashing money everywhere and using a bit of common sense i would also recomend you go to www.visitlondon.com for a lot more information about london

  3. Ok one place to deffinately avoid would be Soho.  That's a bad section of town from what my wife told me when she was working there as a nanny.  The eye of London is a place you could go see.  Another thing she told me is that London is always changing as far the stores they have and things like that.  Make sure you don't get lost over there.

  4. Crikey! You should stay at least a week. There's really so much to see. I suggest taking a bus, one of those fun double decker buses straight to Trafalger Square. And just get lost! Figuratively speaking of course. Bring a camera. Discover Big Ben, the Parliment Buidings, Picadilly Square, Lester Sqare, see all the signs for the awesome shows and pick a few to watch! I recommend the 39 Steps, it's hillarious. Keep walking, and see The London Eye, this huge circle shaped thing that takes an entire half hour to go around, and get awesome views of the city that way. Check out some of the museums, Tate Museum, and the Portrait Museum, Oh! And there's The London Tower! Learn about some of the grisely history of royalty and such, see where Ann Boleyn was killed, see the crown jewels! See the actual crowns that were on actual royalty!

There's also alot of tour buses that can take you around different places, but I think it's so much more fun to take stuff at your leisure, you know?

And you don't have to stay in Central London, where it's more expensive.

Oh, you have to eat at the Texas Embassy, (Texas was actually it's own country for 9 years!) It's fantastic Mexican food, and have some strawberry margaritas!

And there's also some tours in the East End, that go back to the Jack the Ripper days, some Sherlock Holmes type stuff.

And there's a scary theme park, called the London Dungeon.

As far as clubs go, I'm pretty sure it's a given that they are everywhere. I'm in Battersea (that's Southern London), and there's some that are just a short walk. There's also pubs, that are more relaxed. To take a break from loud music if you just want to talk.

Yeah! So I hope you guys have a really awesome time!
