Planning fall vacation...which would be best?

Question

3 days in Atlanta, GA seeing the Aquarium, shopping, maybe a Braves game vs 3 days in Destin, FL on the beach doing nothing but enjoying the quiet tranquility of off-season beach bliss? Both of these are about a 6 hour drive from home.

It's that  'doing nothing'  part that appeals to me.  Shopping and standing in line at a venue is not a vacation.  Best to come home rested.

Hi, I would definitely take the 3 days on the beach doing nothing! You deserve a break from saving all these kitties! Your babies are gonna miss their momma though. Have a nice vacation and enjoy it!

Edit: You'll probably not be on vacation, you'll end up saving more kitties over there, supposed to be lots of strays in FL.Lol

Beach!  In any case, I'm sure there's shopping in Florida too so if you get too bored you should be able to find something.

Wonder will always go with anything beach related, otherwise your "vacation" will end up wearing you out.

id say 3 days on a beach... thats only because the beach is my favourite place to go...

but the 3 days in atlanta sounds good to...

Oh honey! Go to the beach and enjoy yourself! It is sooo hot in Atlanta! I know, I know! It's hot in Alabama too, but you can at least enjoy the nice ocean breeze and some waves in FL. There's no better place to relax than on the beach.

Okay, I didn't know anything about Destin, and I just looked it up. There is no way you can pass that place up for Atlanta! It is absolutely beautiful there!
