  1. Yes, if you like pubs London is the place for you!

    There are literally thousands around the place, spread all over town.

    Try some in the city, the more famous ones are Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese on Fleet Street or The Globe at Baker Street.  But there are lots of others, and sometimes in the place you'd least expect them.  Go exploring the alleyways in Central London and you might find some hidden gems.


  2. The public house below is one of London's most famous.  It is a coaching inn and was where the London to Portsmouth stage coach would stop in the days of Chas Dickens etc.

  5. The centre of London is not full of posh or pretentious pubs.. there are plenty of old english pubs there, you will easily tell them apart as the old english pubs tend to be more traditional.
