  1. a soft green would be lovely, they wold compliment your dress without taking away.  stargazers can have hot pink tones and that might not go over well with our bridesmaids.  also if you are getting stargazers make sure that there is no pollen on them as they will stain yellow.  pipe cleaners work well for this.

  2. What season is your wedding?  Emerald green is lovely, but so is hunter green.  Hunter green is more muted and might be better for a winter wedding.  And look at all the different shades of greens and pinks that you can use as accent colors!

The stargazer lilies will be perfect.  I think it sounds beautiful.

My only caveat is this:  green, obviously, is a yellow-based color.  Some shades of green have a lot more yellow than others.  But women who have a complexion that is based in blue very often can't wear green at all.  I LOVE emerald green and kelly green, but I can't wear either color near my face.  So before you set your heart on green, take your girls to a fabric store and see how each of them looks with different shades of green held up to her face.

Actually, do the same if you go with pink, too - pink looks great on women with blue undertones but sometimes makes women with ruddier skin turn orange.

You WILL find shades of either color that will work for all your girls.  And you've chosen two gorgeous colors with so much flexibility.

Gosh, I want to see pictures.   :-)

  3. Sounds pretty.  My wedding was done only using black, white, & red and the flower girl dress was white with accents of red & black, very cute!

  4. I think green is more lovely for dresses.Like that emerald green,so pretty.Stargazer lilies would look good.Ya,the flower girl dress would look prettier in white.

  5. Nice spring green dresses with stargazer lilies would be just lovely!

I like it when the flowergirl wears a white dress.

  6. I LOOOOOVE stargazers! I think only for your bouquet thought. I'm thinking it will be TOO much pink and green. The bridesmaids should have green and the flower girl should have pink!

    Congrats and have fun!!!

  7. How about green for the adults and pink for the girls?

Or pick one color for the maid of honor and the other for the bridesmaids?

How about one color for the adults (like a rose pink) and a lighter shade (like baby pink) of the same color for the girls?

How about white dresses for the girls, with a big sash in green or pink?

Stargazer lilies will match with just about anything, but choose flowers with care - make sure your bridal party members aren't allergic!

  8. Green is a better option for the dresses because light pink will not match everyones skin tone. So go with green dresses and maybe a light pink sash. As for the flower girl dresses, either make them white like yours or they would also look good in light pink. Stargazer lillies would match your colors perfectly. :)

  9. I would have your bridesmaid dresses be whatever color you want to stand out more. Have you looked at what shade of green you like, and do all of your bridesmaids like green? I am getting married in March - a spring wedding and my colors are periwinkle, ivory and silver. My girls are wearing periwinkle and they all love the color. I wouldn't want my bridesmaids be uncomfortable with a dress they didn't like. I would also take that into consideration. My flower-girl is going to be wearing periwinkle - but that is a personal choice. I didn't want her white or ivory dress to get dirty. I am not sure what stargazer lilies look like, but lilies are pretty.

  10. The dresses should be green and the flowers should be pink. The flower girl would be nice if it were white with a pink or green sash or bow.

  11. I think that a green dress with a pink sash would look really nice. Maybe something like this:

For the flowergirl I think that a white dress with some green/pink flowers on them would look really nice.

The stargazer lilies are nice and I think that they would make a lovely bouquet for the colors you are thinking of.

  12. Lilies are more for funerals not weddings and go with the bridesmaids in a dress that has both green and pink,  like a green dress with a pink belt there are some really cute ones out there.  I have no idea about flower girls, i have seen a lot of white.  Do a fancy childrens dress in white with a satin pink belt to match the bridesmaids.
