Planning on going to montreal: what kind of ID should i bring for bars and such?

i'm new to canada, right now i live in Ontario, and i'm planning on visiting montreal but i'm not sure what kind of ID they accept to let you in bars and clubs... any help?

  1. a regular photo ID should be fine as long as you are 18 and over.
