Planning to buy handheld video camera? JVC Everio or Sony???

Question

I'll be going on a holiday and I need to capture it in video mode. I have been braggin about Boracay, Puerto Galera and Cebu and I need to show my colleagues how beautiful it is. Please help me decide.

the jvc is very nice i just purchased one.  the battery life is a little short though and it is small and easy to carry

you're travelling overseas and probablly won't have your computer with you. you shoot on the HDD cam and the drive fills ups.

then what do you do?

get a mini dv cam and have plenty of tapes. thats what you do.

plus your resolution will be better.
