  1. Learn how to spell it before you go.

  2. swim

  3. The ferry will be the most expensive trip - probably best to go Dover Dunkirk on the norfolkline, you can get a one way ticket for around £18.00 including 5 people in the car.  Then stick the tent in the back and head for Belgium and Germany, have a brilliant time.

  4. most people travelling to the isle of wight travel by car ferry from southampton but you can go by car from lymington and i believe from near portsmouth..i suggest you check on Red Funnel Ferries websight.  http://www2.redfunnel.co.uk/

    or the Wightlink website.  http://www.wightlink.co.uk/

as these are the main operators going to the island..hope this helps you

  5. gdfg

  6. Look on the wightlink website. Wether you take a car depends on how much you want to see.

  7. Cheapest way out?

    Don't go!

  8. depends where you stay some hotels do packages at reduced rate which include ferry crossing..

campsites are a cheap bet.. "the orchards holiday camp"is a lovely site to stay and they arrange youre ferry at a good price..

  9. unless you can walk on water the cheapest way would be the ferry

  10. the ferry there is WAY cheaper if u r just foot passengers.

but remember parking fees for ur car in mainland england and any travel costs while u r there - taxi, train, bus.

u may just walk everywhere and i dunno how much parking is so u r gunna need to do some sums to see if the extra cost of the tickets or travel + parking  more.

    hope this helps.

  11. Walk then swim. That's the cheapest.

Petrol's pretty expensive...might not be the cheapest actually. Maybe you should check the bus prices. Or the train if there is one?

  12. Caravan sites. Do your research on the sites before you decide to go to that one to make sure you are getting the best deal and the nicest place. Ours cost £70 each for the week I think it was. Not bad at £10 a day when using all their electricity and water. Although as we noticed they had given us the most rubbish one there because they assumed people my age (at the time 16 - 21) were going to trash it. We didnt mind you! Not particularly fair there. But we got talking to the people next door, had a nose in theirs and compared to ours it was like the Taj Ma Hal lmao.

So always do a lot of research and make sure they are giving you the best one.

Being passengers on a ferry is cheaper than taking a car. But saying that, if you want to go everywhere then its more beneficial to take a car. I would take a car as a bus fee from one end of the island to the other is about £7 imagine how much it would eventually cost.

  13. Get the ferry with the car.Cheaper if 4 of you. Also it's so small

you can't rely on public transport to get to remote places you'll

come across driving. You'll also save on train fares as they are

or we're the main last time i was there.Does above know where the I.O.W. is.Cheapest will be Portsmouth to Ryde.

  14. There is a good bus system around the island. As you say there are 4 people I am taking it that 2 are children.  If so they would travel reduced rates.  There is also a train service on the island.  It could pay you to go B & B if you think the weather is going to be good. Of course there is that grand hotel Parkhurst.  Only caters for male guests though. There are various  holiday camps there, camping, caravanning and a couple of the old firms like Butlins. Overall I find it is cheaper and more independant to take the car. Good luck
