Planning to go to Paris for 2 weeks?

Sadly, by myself. Anybody can recommend some cheap hotels around Paris. Btw, how expensive is it going to a nice restaurant? Still working out my budget..

Also, I'm going to Nice- anybody know some cheap hotels there?

If you're young, stay in hostels. They're cheap and you'll meet other people who are traveling because they'll kind of check into YOUR room. It can be fun. Blue Planet is one I've stayed in...can't think of any other names.

Great hotel - Lyon Mulhouse.  No frills, but clean, and right in the Bastille, next to major Metro station.  We were there in Sept 05 and I think it was around 100 Euro a night - not too bad.  

Nice restaurant will probably run you about 100 Euro per person, depending on the wine/beverage that you get.
