I am planning a trip to Persepolis and Esfahan which are the ancient Persian sites for October. But, in November I am supposed to be at a wedding in USA. I am English. Will there be any problem entering the USA with an Iranian entry/exit stamp in my passport?

  1. As long as you have a valid visa for entry to the US, you should not have any problem. I have family and friends in Iran and many of my European friends and family have been to Iran to visit and then come to the US without any problems.

  2. I think it is not problem. American government only sensitive on Iranian not on whom travel to Iran.

have a goo trip, but I suggest you to visit Kashan, Abyaneh, Bavant, Yazd, Shiraz, Esfahan. if you want to find more about good itinerary plz see http:/revealingpersia.com (in tours section)

if you want be budget trip tell me to help you

    ;)

  3. Hmm, interesting! I'm not sure, but I don't think there should be an issue, although you would probably get interrogated at the US port of arrival - regarding what you were doing in Iran; who you had contact with; where you visited ... that sort of thing!

Also, you'd be better off I think if you have the new British biometric passport. Less hassle on arrival to the US.

Have a fantastic time in Iran & particularly Perspolis. It's one of my dreams yet to come true to visit that place! :)
