Plano contacts?

I have always disliked the color of my eyes and when I found out about plano contacts I was really happy.

now, my parents... not so much.

they think that it's unsafe to have contacts if you don't really need them.

does anyone have any advice as to what I could tell them to make them change their mind?

was anyone else stuck in this situation?

I can tell you one thing, as long as you take good care of your contact lenses, it will not damage your eyes. I have being wearing contact lenses for a long time and I never had problems with it. Sometimes, when I want to wear glasses I wear plano color contact lenses just for the fun of it. I must say though, contacts are a little bit tricky because eyes normally have different base curve so maybe you should visit an eye doctor so he can give you the contacts that will fit your eyes better. I think you should wear them. Go to the doctor and I'm sure he would never let you wear something that it isnt safe. Your parents should know that.
