Tell me your plans for Earth Day

I am hosting a showing of the award winning documentary 'An inconvenient Truth' by Al Gore with discussion to follow Included will be some free resources, articles, etc. Tell me what your up to and if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them!

It's amazing how many ignorant pigs are in this forum like Matt and that corbeza @ss.  Hopefully these types of people will suffer the most this summer as it will be deadly one.

The best way to change is to go blind.  I used to drive an older car, drive everywhere, work in a power wasting office, and live in a large apartment.  Now, since I've lost my eyesight, I can't drive, can't work and rent a small room.  I'm saving the earth, one welfare check at a time!!

I plan on taking a 5 hour steaming hot shower then leaving the water on while I brush my teeth.  The I think I will hop in my SUV and driving over to the landfill to burn some Styrofoam.  Do you want to come?

Make sure you watch "Planet Earth" Sunday on the Discovery channel. They are airing all past episodes and 2 new ones.



Take cloth tote bags to the grocery store. I have them from cruises I have taken, amusement parks and have gotten a few a Michael's.

We shouldn't have to depend on plastic or paper bags.

Recycle - recycle- recycle ! Even tote bags.

Every day is earth day for me. If you're going to watch & discuss An Inconvenient Truth you may consider discussing why the temperature history data used in the film is fradulent.

It will be just another day for me. I do wish the day had never gotten started because in the end, it's a waste of time and effort. Al Gore and his book are just as much a waste of time, especially since he has been as badly debunked as he has been.

If you really want to do more for the earth, plant a tree. Make your own sodas, or reduce the electrical power that you use. Better yet, invest in solar electric panels and batteries. While there are things that would help the earth, most people only talk, few do anything really worth while. That is why I just say, go away, I'm not interested.
