Yup I hear ya ... I have a rocky shore and a 6ft rise to my bulkhead.   I can't afford a Dock yet so I'm in the same boat.  I'm starting my ramp next week.

Going for 2 x 16ft Railroad Ties braced together with treated 2x4 - Basically making the frame.  Once built, then going to find the best placement and decide how it's going to be anchored.  Possible concrete block at the base and also 2 tension struts from halfway up the underside of the Ties into our Granite Rock Bulkhead.

Bunk Hardware, Bunks, Carpet and Winch after that .... but thats the easy part.  Shifting 2 x 16ft Ties is gonna hurt !

Im looking for ideas on how to build a ramp for my jet ski, I have a rocky shore.  Any ideas I was think railroad ties and a wench?
