I just moved into a house and there was a den burana pink lady on the kitchen counter and it looked like it hadn't been watered in a while because the silicone at the the bottom was all shriveled upp so i watered it every day for like 4 days and the leaves turned yellow so I must have been overwatering it. How much and how often should I water this plant? Also, how much sunlight will it get and when will its blooms grow back?

  1. I didn't know what it was so I googled it.  (sorry Yahoo)  Orchards need filtered light so the table was probably a good place for it.  My friends mother used to put an ice cube in her plant every day.  That kept it damp but not wet.  Do what I did look it up on the internet!

  2. You're watering it too much. Indoor plants can get away with watering once a week, but not soaking it, just a shot of water. If it is kept in front of a window with the sun blaring on it, it will need water more often, however, I suggest leaving it in an area where there is good light (not direct sun) but a room with windows where lots of light pours through. If you want it to flower, feed it. Look for a blooming food, where the formula has a higher middle number (phosphate), e.g. Miracle-Gro's ultra bloom formula is 15-30-15. So every week when you give the plant a shot of water, add a little food, that will help push the blooms.

  3. You should be able to find the answer on one of these sites. Good luck.
