Plant roots?

Question

I have to write a number of pages on types of roots, parts of roots and include and describe different roots like tubers, [potatoes, carrots etc].

Baffled by the number of sites and can't find tubers etc

Can anyone direct me and tell me the different types of roots there are eg tubers, tap roots etc
