1. You want to keep going with the treatments until you can see the entire print of the skin (ex. fingerprint pattern). The white circle could be a bloodvessel that is feeding the virus.

    Here's the lowdown!

My two kids have been fighting Plantar's warts all summer, and we finally had our last visit Tuesday! YEAH!!! (My 11 year old had a total of six on her toes, and my 6 year old had one very deep one. We thought his was small until we saw how many applications it took to kill it!) The six year old's wart was deep because the pressure from walking had pushed it way into his heel.

The dermatologist put a very strong acid on them and they blistered up, the blister left, then the skin peeled off. We went back every 2 weeks for 8 weeks. At each visit, she used a blade to cut away the callous in order to get the acid closer to the core of the warts.

The dermatologist said to put compound W on them twice a day between visits, as long at they weren't in pain. (We also started using Compound W three weeks before we got in for an appointment, and had made big progress already.) It is essential that you don't let up and never forget a dose. Don't waste your money on the jar with the brush in it! Buy the tube that you squeeze some out of.

Soak your foot in the tub, and use a pumice stone in between applications to sand off the compound w and dead, calloused skin. (As often as possible.) We also used a blade, but be sure to wash your hands very well when you are done, as warts can spread to your hands.

When you apply the compound W be sure to keep in in the wart area, as the skin around it can get very raw. You will notice that once the compound W is on, you will see some little reddish/black dots. These are the blood vessels that feed the wart. In order to kill the entire thing and not have it come back, you will need to get the the very bottom of these vessels to eliminate them! People used to call these the core of the wart or the seed, but they are really just blood vessels.

On my son's last visit, he had only one huge blood vessel left. It stuck out of a hole in the wart and it wiggled in there like a loose tooth! The doctor put the acid down the hole and three days later my son fished it out with a tweezer! It looked slimy like a little white worm!

When we went back she said that that was the blood vessel and he is cured!

Good luck and remember to wash your hands diligently!

  2. When you cant see it anymore and the skin where it was is smooth and it feels like it did before the wart appeared.
