Can anyone tell me when the pain from treating a plantar wart begins to subside? It has turned white with a black center but it is so painful that I can't put any weight on my foot, ouch!! Help please.

  1. i had one. i went to my doctor and they put liquid nitrogen on it. it stung for a little bit, but about a day or two later, it fell out. if you dont get them out soon, they can grow to be the size of a marble..and its not good. avoid pool water..believe me, it hurts.

  2. I don't know what Duoplant is.  Why not see a doctor and have it removed?  I'll tell you the removal hurts, at least it did when I had it done.  You've given a local anesthetic shot, and that's what hurt!  I had to have a bunch of them, as they couldn't find the right place to numb the area they'd be working on.

The surgery didn't hurt a bit, it was finally numb when they did it.  A laser was used to remove it.  The recovery was a couple of weeks.  I couldn't walk on it and had to use a cane.  I didn't miss any work, however.  This was about 10 years ago, so I'm betting they're even better at doing this than they were when I had it done.

    Hope this helps
